Reviews and Ratings
I truly loved the rustic design of the rooms, with log bed-frames and tree decorations, they felt cozy and comfortable. It would have been even better if there were at least double beds available. The hotel is nestled in a mountain environment, offering a unique stay for nature lovers.
The hotel has that rustic motel feel and sits separate from the casino area, offering a unique charm. It was not far from many attractions, providing decent value for the price paid. At other chain hotels, we would have paid more for smaller rooms.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms completely reeked like an ashtray, the beds were small but comfy, and the pool was wonderful. The service, though fantastic overall, had a concerning incident when I complained about a broken lock. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and offering a great base to explore South Lake Tahoe. The dining experience was really good, especially at Latin Soul, offering delicious food. Overall, a stay with some highs and lows.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and had a cool rustic look, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The service was top-notch; the hostess provided excellent service, and I even got to save some money using coupons given by Lakeside. The location was convenient, offering easy access to casinos and a nature park nearby. Although not close to the lake, the hotel's atmosphere was cozy and great for low-stakes betting. The dining experience at the Timber House was delightful, especially the affordable breakfast options. The facilities were well-maintained, making my stay very pleasant overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient, close to South Lake Tahoe and between $79.00 to $279.00 depending on the day and occupancy. The rooms, though lacking a refrigerator and microwave, were clean and had a rustic mountain cabin feel. Unfortunately, the service from the staff was rude and unprofessional, making it a major downside of the stay.
